The challenge
This was the first UAE-China Think Tank Forum ever held - there was no prior edition to benchmark against, and it fell on the 40th anniversary of UAE-China diplomatic relations, raising the stakes on every detail.
The brief ran across four programme sessions over two days - covering multilateralism and peace, trade and logistics, technology and industry, and education and culture - and needed one accountable delivery team spanning design, construction, staging, AV and guest management throughout, at the Four Seasons Hotel, Beijing.
